New year, new chef, new menu. Traditional and classy with a light modern touch, Franz-Joseph Unterlenchner presented his new menu at Schwarzreiter restaurant at the Kempinski Vier Jahreszeiten hotel in Munich.

My absolute highlight was milky rice as part of the dessert. We all cherish childhood memories! Every family has their own milky rice recipe: some use cinnamon, some add nuts. The one I tried at Swarzreiter reminded me of the one I had in my childhood but with a fine dining touch.
